Businessman Movie Synopsis:

One of the films in which Mahesh Babu is seen in the massiest avatar of his career is Businessman. The movie is a trendsetter in his career based on a gangster story, in which Mahesh plays the role of Surya Bhai. The movie was initially released in 2012 and has created waves of sensation throughout. The movie starts with Mahesh coming to Mumbai to rule it. The film stars Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role opposite Mahesh Babu.

The Businessman movie is one of the blockbusters delivered by Puri Jagannadh, who made it based on the concept of RGV. The film was a huge hit at the box office and created a new image for Mahesh Babu in commercial gangster films. The film is being re-released in theatres today as a part of Mahesh Babu’s birthday celebrations.

Puri Jagannadh has always been known to make films that depict intense action and emotions. The director has already worked with Mahesh Babu on the film Pokiri. Puri Jagannadh has set a peculiar narrative throughout the film, Businessman, making this different from any other film he has ever made. Also, the impact that the dialogues in Businessman have created has lasted so long that the fans cherish them even today after 11 years. 

Mahesh Babu plays the role of Surya Bahi in the film, a don who wants to rule Mumbai city. There have been very few instances before this film where Mahesh has played a mass avatar. The Pokiri and Businessman movies have clearly changed this for him. Although he is seen playing a serious role in this film, there is a hint of his usual comic timing here and there. Businessman is, no doubt, the best action film in both Puri Jagannadh’s and Mahesh Babu’s careers.

Kajal Aggarwal looks very cute and naive in the film in the role of Chitra. She plays a vital role in the film, supporting the plotline.

S Thaman’s music and the background score in this film have been exceptional assets to the story. Background music has created so much impact in intense action scenes. Also, he has made Puri Jagannadh sing a few verses in the song Bhaag Saale. Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar penned the lyrics for most of the songs and has connected to the young Telugu audience.

Others from the supporting cast, including Prakash Raj, Nassar, Sayaji Shinde, Brahmaji, and Ayesha Shiva, have performed well throughout.
