Rajinikanth’s upcoming star-studded film Annaatthe is one of the most-awaited and anticipated films in Tamil and Telugu. The makers are still in search of the villain of the film, from Gopichand to Anil Kapoor many names popped out. The latest name for the antagonist role is Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff.
According to the latest reports, Bollywood veteran actor Jackie Shroff, who played important roles in films like Vijay’s Bigil and Prabhas’ Saaho, is most likely to be seen as the antagonist in Annaatthe. As Jackie had played many baddie roles, it will be interesting to witness Jackie and Thalavia together on the big screen. If Jackie comes on board, it will be his reunion with Rajinikanth after three decades. The two had previously worked together in Hindi film Uttar Dakshin. It’s also worth mentioning that the makers recently confirmed that actor Prakash Raj will also be seen playing a negative role in the movie.

Annaatthe is directed by Siruthai Siva and stars many popular actors including Khushbu, Nayanthara, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in important roles. Reportedly, Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh will resume shooting from November while Rajinikanth will join the sets in December. Annaatthe was initially scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali 2020. Now, the makers are planning to complete the shooting of the film by early next year as they might release the film in summer 2021.
