Young and talented director, Vivek Athreya mesmerized one and all with his crime comedy movie, Brochevarevarura. The comedy caper, which starred Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna and Nivetha Thomas, was a superhit for its great screenplay, and a lot of twists and turns. While the movie remains a special one for the Telugu audience, it is reportedly all set to be remade in Hindi.
According to the latest reports, Bollywood actor and producer Ajay Devgn brought the rights of Brochevarevarura. It is said that he will be officially adapting it for the Hindi audience and the film is currently in the scripting stages. Reportedly, the remake is titled Velley and Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol and cousin Abhay Deol would play the lead roles. A source told a leading portal, “Velley is the official adaptation of Telugu crime comedy, Brochevarevarura. Ajay loved the concept and instantly bought the rights for it, so he could take it to a pan India. The script is currently being written (sic.)”
The source further added, “Abhay is known for high concept films and Brocheverevarura is one of the most unique ideas in recent times. Karan is excited to team up with his uncle for the first time, If they come on board, there will be multiple script reading sessions and workshops before the film goes on the floors (sic.)”
