Lucky Baskhar surpassed the milestone figure of fifty crores in the first weekend at the box office. The con-artist drama minted Rs 55.40 crores worldwide (Gross). It was released in theatres on Thursday with scores of premiere shows on Wednesday in the Telugu States.
Dulquer Salmaan has cast his spell on the box office, scoring a hat-trick in Telugu. Directed by Venky Atluri and produced by S Naga Vamsi, the film has performed on a stupendous scale.

In his speech at Sunday’s Success Press Meet, DQ was generous enough to acknowledge the contribution of everyone. He mentioned everyone from Sai Kumar (noting that the Dialogue King had dubbed for the CBI sleuth’s character even in Tamil) to Rajkumar Kasireddy, the AAY actor who played his friend in the movie.
DQ then spoke of the special connection he feels with the Telugu audience. “I feel I have a divine connection with the Telugu audience. When I did Mahanati, I hardly knew the language. I was offered something in Telugu right after OK Bangaram, but I couldn’t take on it,” DQ said. The versatile actor said that director Venky Atluri looks youngish.
