The films released in March 2021 are A1 Express, Shaadi Mubarak, April 28 Em Jarigindi, Power Play, Play Back, Sreekaram, Gaali Sampath, Jathi Ratnalu, Love Life & Pakodi, Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, Mosagallu, Idhe Maa Katha, Sashi, Rang De, Aranya and Thellavarithe Guruvaram.
This article deals with some decent good films that are recommended for our audience.
A1 Express
Being the first film in Telugu based on the Hockey Sport, the film A1 Express created a good buzz around when it got released. The film deals with an ex-Hockey player who fights against a local politician to save a hockey ground from being sold to a corporate company for their personal benefits. Sundeep Kishan perfectly fits the role of a hockey player with his physical transformation and body language on the screen. Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi did give a good performance. The hockey sequences in the climax brought a realistic look.
Sreekaram
Despite going through the worst phase of continuous flops, Sharwanand still managed to bring the audience to the theatre for his film Sreekaram. The film is about a software guy quitting his job and getting back to his village to do farming with new techniques and thereby increasing the economic standards of all the farmers in his village. Sharwanand did his perfect job to portray the role of his comfort zone. Rao Ramesh and Naresh gave decent performances. The visuals of the rural areas and farm lands were so pleasing to watch. The dialogues were so apt to every scene and were thought provoking. The narration and the ending of the film could be better. The film is recommended to watch for its views on agriculture.
Jathi Ratnalu
The film Jathi Ratnalu, a full length complete comedy entertainer from the makers of Mahanati looked promising with the fun filled teasers and trailers itself. Matching to the expectations and even going ahead, the film provided a wholesome entertainment throughout the run time. The film shows the true innocence of three friends. The trio of Naveen Polishetty, Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi are impeccable with their comedy timing and facial expressions. The debutant Faria Abdullah performed well. The background score fits so well with the illogical activities of the lead actors on the screen to provide a fun ride. One-liners in the film are the best part. The film was made on a budget of 4 crores and collected 70 crores. So keep the logic aside and enjoy this fun ride.
Gaali Sampath
The film Gaali Sampath released after entertaining the audience with crazy promotions. The language of Rajendra Prasad and his comedy timing brought the audience to the theatres. The film deals with an emotional bonding between an innocent father and a frustrating son. After causing a lot of disturbance to his son’s life and dreams, a disappointed father leaves the house and falls into a well unknowingly. The survival scenes are picturised so well. The performance from Rajendra Prasad in those survival scenes is unmatchable. The film is a one man show from the legendary actor Rajendra Prasad. The audience enjoyed his emotions and expressions throughout the film. The narration of the story could be better. The film is suggested to watch our very dear and lovable actor Rajendra Prasad in a full swing.
Rang De
The theatrical trailer of the film Rang De promised to have something in the film. Yes, it did of course. The film shows the marital life of two opposite people who dislike each other and the problems they face after their marriage. Nithin and Keerthy Suresh looked like a perfect pair on screen. Their chemistry worked so well. The visuals from the master PC Sreeram were so attractive in capturing the romantic moments of the couple. They looked so fresh. Despite the predictability of the story, the film is a decent rom-com to watch.
These are our picks for the month of March. There can be few other films which can be discussed here. But as we said earlier, this article deals with some decent Telugu Cinema. Finally, the best pick for March 2021 is Jathi Ratnalu.
