Young actor Bellamkonda Srinivas is well known for his commercial entertainers Alludu Seenu(2014) and Speedunnodu(2016.) Srinivas changed his track of commercial movies and stunned the audience with a spot on performance in Rakshasudu(2019.) He is all set to mark his Bollywood debut this year with the blockbuster hit S. S. Rajamouli’s Chatrapathi(2005.) It is forthright to say, the respective careers of S. S. Rajamouli and Prabhas skyrocketed following the commercial success of Chatrapathi.
The makers officially started shooting on April 22nd, 2021. To recreate Chatrapathi magic, art director Sunil Babu erected a massive rural set worth 3 crore rupees in 6 acres of land. With the surge of COVID 19 cases and lockdown restrictions, shooting took a halt followed by the sudden onset of rains in Hyderabad. The rains badly affected the rustic set and caused severe damage. Keeping the monsoon forecast and lockdown restrictions in mind, the makers are weighing out the options on working back on the huge set.

Bellamkonda Srinivas has undergone a massive transformation for this action drama. Blockbuster director V. V. Vinayak is crafting the Chatrapathi Hindi remake. K.V. Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story for the original wrote the script for the remake as well. This yet to be titled project is bankrolled by Jayantilal Gada under the banner of Pen Studios.
