Actress Amritha Aiyer landed Bachhala Malli when she was doing HanuMan, her breakout blockbuster of Sankranthi. In her upcoming movie, headlined by actor Allari Naresh, she has been cast as a smalltown girl who attaches the utmost importance to family emotions.
Speaking about the movie in her latest interview, Amritha says that Bachhala Malli is the result of director Subbu Mangadevvi’s clarity of thought. “He is a focused director who gives primacy to emotions. The film is an emotional drama,” Amritha adds. “I have always wanted to do meaningful roles in my career. All the characters I have portrayed so far are different in their own ways,” Amritha reflects.
Sita Ramam fame Vishal Chandrasekhar has lent the music. “Each song is extraordinary. Once Bachhala Malli hits the screens, they will make even more sense,” the heroine predicts.
She is happy to have got to associate with producer Razesh Danda of Hasya Movies. She is currently doing a movie each in Kannada and Tamil.
Also starring ‘Balagam’ Jayaram, Hari Teja, Praveen, and Viva Harsha, Bachhala Malli will hit the screens on December 20th.
