AR Rahman is the best music director Indian cinema has ever produced, as known to us all. The Academy Award winning actor is busy with continuous projects. But yet he meets his fans in his free times. AR Rahman recently visited Canada for one such purpose. A street in the Markham city of Canada, USA was named after AR Rahman very recently. The government there conducted an event recently and invited AR Rahman to grace the event. AR Rahman visited the street and spent a quality time with the people there. He returned to Chennai last evening. On his way back, he met one of the legendary personalities and musicians, a sort of inspiration for him, Sri Ilaiyaraaja garu at the Chennai international airport.
Ilaiyaraaja recently visited Budapest, Hungary for a live concert of his songs. He returned yesterday evening after finishing the concert and met AR Rahman at the airport.
AR Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja travelled together in the golf cart for some time. AR Rahman took a selfie video with Ilaiyaraaja and posted it officially on his Twitter handle. “We are returning from different continents, but the destination is always Tamil Nadu,” wrote AR Rahman on his Twitter.

AR Rahman recently impressed the audience with his last work, Cobra. Now his upcoming movie, Ponniyin Selvan 1, is getting ready to be released on September 30th, 2022. On the other hand, Ilaiyaraaja is currently working for Ranga Maarthanda in Telugu and Viduthalai in Tamil.
