In a recent and positive development for the RRR: Roudram Ranam Rudhiram producers, the government of Andhra Pradesh came out with good news for the movie makers and exhibitors.
Permissions were issued to the management of theatres in the state to increase an amount of Rs. 75 per ticket for all classes. As per the GO issued by the Jaganmohan Reddy government, the exemption will be available for ten days from the release date of the film, which is scheduled to be on March 25th.
It is already aware that the RRR producers applied for enhanced ticket prices as the film falls under the super big budget film category. The ministry of cinematography considered the appeal conveying that the film budget is ₹336 crore excluding GST and the remuneration of the lead cast and director. Earlier, the AP government also permitted five shows per day but one of the five shows should be earmarked for a small budget movie.
Coming to movie details, RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR is one of the most anticipated movies in the country. The Pan-Indian movie has Ram Charan play the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju, while Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem, whereas Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris will be the female leads opposite them. MM Keeravani is composing the score for the period fiction which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya with a sky touching budget.
