Producer Sahu Garapati has gifted director Anil Ravipudi a luxury car. The duo last year united for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s box-office hit, Bhagavanth Kesari, which was recently conferred with the Best Film award at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) event.
It was in the year 2016 that Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi signed up Ravipudi by paying him advance. Since the director got busy with other projects, the project took time to materialize. After the pandemic, things started moving ahead and Balakrishna was onboarded in 2021. “Shine Screens is one of the best banners,” the F2 and F3 director said in an interview before the release of Bhagavanth Kesari.

Bhagavanth Kesari also featured Arjun Rampal, Sreeleela and Kajal Aggarwal. Its music was by Thaman S.
Sahu has also produced films with Nani (‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ and ‘Tuck Jagadish’). ‘Majili’ with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha was a big hit. Allari Naresh’s ‘Ugram’ is another of his movies. Sahu is currently producing movies led by Vishwak Sen and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas. The title of Sen’s movie is ‘Laila’.
