The Andhra Pradesh government has approved a temporary ticket price hike for Kuberaa, one of the most important releases of the year. This special dispensation will allow theatres across the state to increase ticket rates for a period of 10 days from the film’s release date.
Under the new order, both multiplexes and single-screen cinemas will be permitted to charge an additional Rs 75 (in the case of single screens, the hike is applicable only for upper-class tickets). GST will be additional.

The film was separately shot in Telugu and Tamil. While each scene is common to both, the overall run-time is only mildly different. “Technically speaking, we filmed two movies at a time,” director Sekhar Kammula has said.
Starring Dhanush, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna, the film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Kuberaa is slated to be released in theatres this Friday (June 20th).
