Television host and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, who is known for her work in Telugu films such as Kshanam and Rangasthalam, was lately rumoured to be working on the Tamil biopic of yesteryear actress Silk Smitha. However, it seems like these are just mere rumours as Anasuya denied them.
For the past few days, rumours were that Anasuya would be playing the leading role in the biopic of Silk Smitha. The rumours made the rounds after Anasuya recently posted a picture from her upcoming Tamil project and mentioned Silk Smitha as the reference. However, Anasuya Bharadwaj denied the reports about working on a Tamil biopic about the yesteryear actor Silk Smitha. Anasuya took to Twitter to put the rumours to rest. She wrote, “I am NOT playing #SilkSmita garu in any biopic. Thank you (sic.)”

Meanwhile, Anasuya is making her debut in the Kollywood industry. She is currently working on an untitled Tamil film and also shared a picture on her Instagram page from this project.
