Amma Rajasekhar has been a prominent film personality. His directorial debut, Ranam (2006), was a box office hit. Years after participating in Bigg Boss Telugu, he has wielded the megaphone for an emotional action drama titled Thala. His son, Amma Raagin Raj, is making his debut with the film.
Set to hit the screens on February 14th, the film’s Trailer is out. “As I had said a few years ago, I am introducing my son on the silver screen. I have no patience for love stories. I like movies with a massy touch. My son is 17. Thala is about a teen who is pushed into tough circumstances. There is a hook that will draw the audiences to theatres,” Amma Rajasekhar said at the Trailer launch event.

The Trailer begins with the male lead saying that his mother is his world. “I don’t just love her. I madly love her,” he says. We are shown visuals of Raagin’s character in edgy situations. The action-packed movie is produced by Deepa Arts. Producer P Sreenivasa Goud has also worked with cinematographer Shyam K Naidu and SS Thaman (associated with a song). Stunt Silva and Stunt Kevin are the action choreographers. Dharma Teja and Aslam Keyi have worked in the music department.
Esther Noronha, Rohit, Mukku Avinash, Satyam Rajesh, Ajay, Rajeev Kanakala, Indraja, and Shravan will be seen in different roles in the movie. Ankitha Nasskar is the heroine.
