Icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair, Sukumar’s most-prestigious movie ‘Pushpa 1- The Rise’ garnered rave reviews across the country in 2021. Now that the most-awaited sequel ‘Pushpa 2- The Rule’ is arriving at worldwide theaters on August 15, 2024, the makers have ramped up the publicity.
As to the latest conjecture, Pushpa 2’s second single, “Sooseki,” was made available yesterday. Thanks to the song’s soulful singer Shreya Ghoshal, songwriter Chandra Bose, and music composer- Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, the fans went crazy for it and quickly turned it into a chartbuster.
Regarding the visuals, the creators chose to highlight off the lead duo’s rehearsal footage rather than the song’s original setup and costumes.
Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun are dressed in contemporary apparel and rehearsing their hook step. However, what attracted attention was that Allu Arjun was wearing a saree-like outfit even in the practice clip. This sparked intriguing debates on where the song would fit into the much-anticipated film.
Since the previously released teaser of Allu Arjun dressed in the costume caught everyone off guard, there are also rumors that Allu Arjun may make an appearance in the “gangamma jaathara” attire, dressed in a saree, even in the song “Sooseki.”
Pushpa Pushpa, the first single from Pushpa 2 and now “sooseki” became instant hits, inspiring fans and followers to mimic both Sooseki’s adorable hook step and Pushpa Pushpa’s “shoe step.”
Pushpa 2- The Rule, written and directed by the brilliant Sukumar, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings and features productions from Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar.
Rashmika Mandanna portrays Srivalli, while Fahadh Faasil takes on the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, supported by notable performances from Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh. The musical score for the film is crafted by Devi Sri Prasad.
