Representatives of the Telugu film industry have been planning to meet with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu lately. A date has been fixed after the dignitary’s appointment was sought.
The high-level meeting will take place on June 15, 2025. As many as thirty stalwarts and industry representatives will convene at 4 PM at the Chief Minister’s Undavalli residence in Vijayawada. The names of the personalities who will be included in the delegation will be announced soon.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will play a pivotal role, representing the government and leading the discussions from their side. It may be noted that, recently, the actor-politician stated that it is important for the leadership of Tollywood to call on the Chief Minister.
Lately, modifications have taken place with respect to the manner of interaction between Tollywood and the AP government. All representations seeking ticket rate hikes and special shows, among other favours, have to be made through proper channels. Industry bodies like the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce will be playing a continuous role in this matter.
