The Akkineni family has met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to gift him a book on the legendary thespian, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. A picture from the occasion was today shared on social media by Akkineni Nagarjuna. Seen in the pic alongside Modi are Amala, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala and others.

The book gifted to the PM is titled Akkineni Ka Virat Vyaktitva. Taking to social media, Nag wrote, “Profoundly thankful to Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for today’s meeting at Parliament House. It was an honor to present ‘Akkineni Ka Virat Vyaktitva’ by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, a tribute to my father ANR garu’s cinematic heritage. Your recognition of his life’s work is a treasured affirmation for our family, fans and the Indian movie lovers. We are extremely grateful for this opportunity.”
On the work front, Nag is currently doing Kubera with director Sekhar Kammula. The film co-stars Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna. Naga Chaitanya’s latest release, Thandel, is playing in cinemas. The film stars Sai Pallavi as the heroine and is directed by Chandoo Mondeti.
