Aditi Rao Hydari made her movie debut with Prajapathi, a Malayalam movie which had Mammootty as the lead. After that, Aditi Rao Hydari went on to act in all the major film industries of India, namely Bollywood (Hindi,) Tollywood (Telugu,) Kollywood (Tamil) and Mollywood (Malayalam.) Aditi also created a demand for herself as a bankable star who combines beauty with talent.
In a latest development based on several rumours, Aditi Rao Hydari is being considered to replace Samantha Akkineni as the female lead in Maha Samudram, which will have Sharwanand as the male lead. Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand collaborated together for the recently released Jaanu, a remake of the Tamil movie ’96. Although Jaanu performed well at the box office, apparently, it was not to the satisfaction of the makers of Maha Samudram. Hence, Aditi Rao Hydari is being brought in as the female lead. This move was done with the blessings of Samantha Akkineni herself, according to rumours.

Additionally, the rumours also suggest Naga Chaitanya was originally considered as the male lead, followed by Ravi Teja when Naga Chaitanya opted out. Following the performance of Disco Raja, Ravi Teja was replaced by Sharwanand. Maha Samudram will be directed by Ajay Bhupathi, who also directed RX 100.
Aditi Rao Hydari was last seen in a Telugu movie when she acted in Antariksham 9000 KMPH, a science fiction film which had Varun Tej as the lead. Aditi Rao Hydari is currently filming for the Telugu movie V, the Hindi movie The Girl On The Train and Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan.
