Actress Swathi Reddy is more popularly known as Colours Swathi in the industry. Having been away from films for a while now, Swathi hasn’t been heard of nor has been active on social media. But Swathi recently got vexed over the fake stuff like news, articles, profiles, posts, pictures and relationship norms on the web. In a long post on her Instagram page, Swathi penned a long message and also expressed she wishes to return to the 90s.
On Tuesday, Swathi Reddy took to Instagram and impacted a fraud who made a fake Twitter account under her name and photograph. In a long post, the actress descended vigorously on the fake stuff circling on the web. Uncovering that she isn’t on Twitter and has a torpid Facebook profile which is taken care of by her manager and also mentioned by her fans to report such fake profiles on social media.
She wrote, “Checked Instagram today after a week and it’s this, @SwathiReddyOffl Twitter handle is NOT mine. Am NOT on Twitter. I never will be. Am NOT on Facebook. I quit it in 2011. (I have a page handled by someone else, which is dormant) And. I don’t know why am still on Instagram.” She further also wrote “Fake profiles, Fake articles, fake posts, fake relationship standards, fake images, fake positive. Take me back to the 90s where a landline ensured more quality conversations, power cuts because of a drizzle and not a quarantine meant bonding, softy ice cream and egg puffs was standard socialising and Doordarshan was enough stimulation.”
On the work front, Swathi will reportedly be working with Nikhil Siddharth in the film Karthikeya 2, directed by Chandoo Mondeti. However, this is yet to be officially confirmed by the makers. The film is produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under their banners of People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts respectively.
