Akhanda 2 has been in the making since the last quarter of 2024. The latest update from the makers is that Aadhi Pinisetty will be essaying a major role in the mass action drama.
The makers have described Aadhi’s role as powerful. The actor has previously played major roles in Rangasthalam and Sarrainodu in Telugu. After acting alongside Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, he is going to be seen in a Balakrishna movie.
Recently, Samyuktha of Virupaksha fame was roped in for a role in Akhanda 2. Roping her in, 14 Reels Plus described her as a happening star.
Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead, the film is currently being shot under the aegis of action directors Ram and Laxman. A high-octane action sequence is being shot. In January, a schedule was carried out in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, coinciding with the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela.
Director Boyapati Sreenu’s latest collaboration with his Legend and Simha actor is backed by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta. M Tejaswini Nandamuri is the presenter for this true-blue pan-Indian movie.
With music by S Thaman, the cinematography by C Ramprasad and Santosh D Detakae, the film has art direction of AS Prakash. Akhanda 2 will hit the screens on SEPTEMBER 25th, 2025 for Dasara.
