The action-packed film Arjun Son Of Vyjayanthi opened strongly on Day 1 (Friday). It minted Rs 5.15 Cr of worldwide gross on its opening day. Speaking at the film’s success meet on Saturday, actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram quoted the movie’s distributors as informing him that the film will attain its breakeven by the coming Tuesday or Wednesday.
“This is the word of distributors. I could have exaggerated what they told us, but I am consciously not doing it. I thank the distributors for supporting our movie,” the actor, who is known for Bimbisara in recent times, said.
He added that the Telugu audience have proved once again that good content always pays off. “Director Pradeep promised to make Arjun Son Of Vyjayanthi as a pure commercial film. Despite OTT, cinema remains a pure theatrical experience. We could have written a run-of-the-mill climax. But we wanted to offer the audience something extraordinary. I am really proud of the ending. I thank writer Srikanth Vissa for conceiving such a climax,” the Devil and Amigos actor said.
The film is produced by NTR Arts and Ashoka Arts. Featuring Vijayashanthi as the hero’s mother, the action drama also features Srikanth, Saiee Manjrekar, and Babloo Prithveeraj.
