“Remember.. it’s YOU who summoned the DEVIL at this hour! (sic),” the makers of the second installment of Lucifer, titled L2: Empuraan, wrote on social media, unveiling the film’s Trailer. At ten seconds shy of four minutes, the trailer is absolutely interesting. Without going wild in terms of bloodshed and punchlines, the trailer establishes the film as a plot-driven political drama feast.
The plot is centered on Mohanlal‘s Stephen Nedumpally. Prithviraj Sukumaran as Zayed Masood and others play a major role. A line from the trailer hints at Mohanlal’s character making drastic decisions for the sake of the larger good.

To be released in theatres on March 27th, the pan-Indian movie will come out in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
Dil Raju‘s Sri Venkateswara Creations is going to release the crazy project in theatres in the Telugu States. Hombale Films is the distribution partner in Karnataka. Produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas, the film is helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
You might need to rewatch the first part before venturing into theatres this time. “A political Godfather, who ruled the God’s Own Country (Kerala), dies and a lot of thieves dressed up as politicians take over. When it is time for the replacement of the ‘God’, just one name emerges: Stephen Nedumbally,” the movie’s synopsis on Amazon Prime Video reads.
