Adivi Sesh, who has delivered back-to-back hits in the form of Major, Hit 2, Goodachari, Evaru and Kshanam, will next be seen in Dacoit and G2. On Tuesday, on the occasion of Sesh’s birthday, a key update was released by the makers.
Sita Ramam sensation Mrunal Thakur is playing the female lead in the thriller. Sharing a poster in which Sesh and her are seen in a tense situation, the Hi Nanna actress wrote, “Yes, I ditched him. But I loved him whole-heartedly (translated from Telugu).” This was in response to Sesh‘s previous tease that the female protagonist in the story ditches his character even though he had saved her.

Mrunal Thakur was seen in Vijay Deverakonda’s The Family Star and Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD (in a cameo) this year.
The eagerly awaited pan-India action drama Dacoit will hit the screens sometime in 2025. Helmed by debutant director Shaneil Deo, Dacoit is anticipated to be a standout in the action drama genre. The film is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios. The story and screenplay are penned by the Sesh-Deo duo. Script guidance has been provided by dialogue writer Abburi Ravi. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music director. Sri Nagendra Tangala is the production designer. A Vijay is the action choreographer.
