She played a very intense and fierce role named Raja Lakshmi Sekharan (aka Raji) in the series and got a huge appreciation from different actors and filmmakers from different languages across India. Now, Samantha is collaborating with the makers of the series The Family Man: Season 2 again for a series made by the Russo brothers on Citadel. The series is an action packed spy drama and Samantha is selected to play the lead actress alongside Varun Dhawan in the role of a stylish spy.
It is evident from the bollywood sources that the makers are planning to make the series on a massive scale and international standards. The makers also said that Varun and Samantha would be given special training for their roles before it goes for production. Priyanka Chopra would also be a part of this for a special role.
This will go on to the sets in 2022 and the makers are planning to release the series in 2023 on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform.
