The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) ceremony has returned, once again bringing together the best talents and cinematic achievements from the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada film industries. The SIIMA Awards 2023 was a star studded extravaganza, graced by Jr. NTR, Mrunal Thakur, Sreeleela, Rana Daggubati, Allu Arvind and Pranitha Subhash among others. This year’s event took place in the vibrant city of Dubai commencing on September 15 and extending its celebrations to September 16 at the iconic World Trade Centre.
Here are the Telugu winners at SIIMA 2023:
Best Actor in a Leading Role: Jr. NTR for his phenomenal performance in RRR (2022).
Best Actress in a Leading Role: Sreeleela, celebrated for her outstanding performance in Dhamaka (2022).
Best Film: Sita Ramam (2022), a cinematic masterpiece that captured hearts.
Best Actor in a Leading Role (Critics): The brilliant Adivi Sesh, recognized for his exceptional talent.
Best Actress in a Leading Role (Critics): Mrunal Thakur, whose remarkable portrayal in Sita Ramam earned critical acclaim.
Best Debutant Actress: Mrunal Thakur, who left a lasting impression in Sita Ramam.
Flipkart Fashion Youth Icon: The stylish and versatile Shruti Haasan.
Best Debutant Producers: Sharath, Anurag, the visionaries behind the impactful Major (2022).
Promising Newcomer: Bellamkonda Ganesh, a rising star with boundless potential.
