Nelson Dilipkumar is the writer and director of Jailer. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music to which the audience is going crazy. The movie has an extended star cast, including Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, Tamannaah, Vasanth Ravi, and Naga Babu.
