The glimpse of Kalki 2898 A.D. has obviously taken the internet by storm, leaving us very little detail to guess from what they have shown. This has sparked excitement among the spectators from every corner of the nation. The cast and crew of the film have described it as an Indian mythological-inspired film, and it is clear from the promotional material too that there are many metaphors blended into it. This futuristic film is directed by Mahanati filmmaker Nag Ashwin and has a star cast that includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and others.
In the San Diego Comic Con event interview, Nag Ashwin stated that the movie will be released next year (2024) and still has some portions that have to be shot. The latest schedule for Kalki began last night in Hyderabad, where they will be shooting prominent sequences between the lead actors on August 28th. The euphoria among the audience still endured by the audience, only to witness their stars in larger-than-life roles in this film.
Aswani Dutt and Priyanka Dutt are the producers of this massively budgeted film under Vyjayanthi Movies, which will be released in multiple languages across the world. Kalki 2898 A.D.‘s music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, who has been updating that the music from the film is going to be an amalgamation of cultures and sounds from around the world.
