Virupaksha, being one of the major thriller releases in recent times, has been successful from the first day itself. This film showed the story of a village called Rudravanam and the people there who have been experiencing mysterious deaths after 12 years of a curse. Virupaksha is written and directed by Karthik Varma Dandu. Along with the lead pair, the film also stars Ajay, Abhinav Gomatam, Syamala, Brahmaji, Sunil, Sai Chand, Rajeev Kanakala, and Sonia Singh in important roles. BVSN Prasad and Sukumar produced the film under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings. B Ajaneesh Loknath is the music director. Shamdat Sainudeen is the cinematographer, and Navin Nooli is the editor.
