Recently, IMDb released the list of the top 10 films that are most anticipated by audiences this summer. This list is made by the number of views for the film by the audiences.
In the list of the Top 10 India’s most anticipated summer release films, there are 3 Telugu films, which are Adipurush, HanuMan, and Custody.

Adipurush is no doubt the most anticipated film for the whole nation. This is ranked third on the list after Jawan and Animal. Adipurush is a pan-Indian film made by Om Raut simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. This film features Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles as Lord Rama and Sita. This is a mythological film based on Valmiki’s Ramayana. The film is going to hit theaters on June 16th.
HanuMan is the talk of the town for all the right reasons, as it is the first Indian superhero film in Telugu. The film’s superhero character is inspired by the Indian god Hanuman. The film is directed by Prasanth Varma and stars Teja Sajja in the lead role. With all the promotional material up to now, including major VFX, the film has made its mark on audiences. This film ranked ninth on the list. HanuMan is going to be released in theatres on May 12th.
Custody, the tenth film on the IMDb list, is the upcoming release featuring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. This is an action drama film with the lead actor playing a full length cop role for the first time. The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and was simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil. The makers have announced that the film will be released on May 12th in multiple languages.
Along with the above films, Chatrapathi, which is an official remake of SS Rajamouli’s Telugu film of the same title, is also on the list in fifth place. The well known tollywood director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has marked its place on the second place in the IMDb list.
