Kushi is the upcoming movie for Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, which is still in production. This film is directed by Shiva Nirvana, after his last Telugu film Tuck Jagadish. The Kushi movie was initially announced in April 2022, and there was an official motion poster released in May 2022 when they titled the movie. The initial stages of production were shot in Kashmir in May 2022. However, during this film production, Samantha was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called myositis. Because of this, the team has paused the filming.
Samantha took a break from filming the movie Kushi while battling her illness. Recently, she was back to shoot for the film, so the Kushi movie team welcomed her back on the sets. She was welcomed by the director, who said that she is a fighter. The shooting is going to commence shortly, in which both Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda are going to take part.
