Both the films, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, are releasing at the same time, on January 12 and 13, respectively. It is known to us all that this is not the first time Megastar Chiranjeevi and Natasimham Balakrishna have clashed at the Telugu box office for Sankranti. The production company gave clarity about the competition yesterday in a press meet of Waltair Veerayya. Despite the competition, they promised that both films would play in a large number of theaters. Also, the promotions and the pre-release events will be on a high level, as stated by the producers. They also stated that both the star heroes, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, are very supportive. The producers also revealed that Chiranjeevi is very optimistic, and he wished both films would be huge blockbusters for the company. The producers of Mythri Movie Makers are overjoyed with Chiranjeevi’s support.
Waltair Veerayya is written and directed by Ravindra Bobby. Veera Simha Reddy is written and directed by Gopichandh Malinei. Shruti Haasan is the lead actress in both the films. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for Waltair Veerayya, and Thaman S is the music director for Veera Simha Reddy.
