Well, today, RRR is competing with many Hollywood and other international films at the global level for various awards. All the credit goes to SS Rajamouli for his master vision. As we all know, RRR is almost certain to get an Academy Award nomination in different categories. An announcement has been made today officially about Naatu Naatu from RRR getting nominated as the best original song at the Academy Awards.
SS Rajamouli and his team are so proud to know about this recognition for RRR from the Academy Awards. MM Keeravani, the composer of the song, needs all the appreciation for this. Naatu Naatu was not just a commercial song. There is a lot of vision behind it, as said by SS Rajamouli himself. SS Rajamouli said that Naatu Naatu was intentionally put in the film to develop the sync between both actors for action sequences. Since Jr NTR and Ram Charan are very good dancers, SS Rajamouli wanted to build the sync with their dance moves and later apply them for the stunts. It is known to us all that SS Rajamouli took 17 takes to select the best sync moves between the actors. He finalized the second take later on the edit table. SS Rajamouli has such vision and effort that a song can be perfect. It would be beyond our imagination what he might have done for the film.
Naatu Naatu is currently nominated for Oscars and the Golden Globes. As per the film analysts’ predictions, RRR would definitely win one of them. Naatu Naatu sets a record as the first Indian song to be nominated for these prestigious international awards.
