Alluri Telugu Movie Review:
CI Alluri Seetharama Raju (Sree Vishnu) faces many challenges in his police career, both professionally and personally. After suffering many losses in his journey, he becomes the best cop in the city and becomes an inspiration to the younger generations. The film Alluri is the inspiring story of CI Alluri Seetharama Raju, narrated by Naseeruddin (Tanikella Bharani), who worked under CI Rama Raju, to his son.
Sree Vishnu is truly the central focus and attraction of the film Alluri. The actor has put in all the effort to be transformed into a ferocious cop in this intense action film. One can observe a lot of involvement and intensity in his acting in this film. He excelled at every bit of emotion and was completely in the skin of the character. Going by the appearance, Sree Vishnu tried different looks in the film, and they all looked good on screen. Also, it seems like Sree Vishnu did a lot of groundwork to bring in the perfect body language of a cop, and his attitude on screen is really fab.
Kayadu Lohar gets a decent role as Sree Vishnu’s wife, and she is quite impressive in them. In particular, the romantic and emotional scenes she shared with Sree Vishnu stand as the highlights of her performance.
Tanikella Bharani completely justified his role as a subordinate to Sree Vishnu. The narration of the film in his voice sounds very powerful, giving the right hype to the lead character.
Pradeep Varma hits the right areas in his screenplay with timely elevations of the hero. His presentation of the character, Alluri Seetha Rama Raju, is very powerful and it perfectly matches the intensity of the character on paper. Pradeep Varma as a screenwriter, took a lot of inspiration from many other police stories in writing a few parts of the film, but the design of the character is completely original and that is what brings the attraction to the film.
The romantic track and the emotional angle between the lead pair blend decently with the serious action of Sree Vishnu. The scenes in which the police and naxals are seen working together stand as one of the highlights of the film. A few scenes have violence, and that’s the intentional path chosen by the director. The climax of the film is very hard-hitting and leaves an emotional impact on the audience for sure.
Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s background score provides the much needed elevation to the lead character in all the action episodes. The music of Alluri is its biggest technical strength.
Both Raj Thota as a cinematographer and Dharmendra as an editor are good with their work. The production values need a special mention here for bringing the best visual presentation to this cop film.
The action sequences are choreographed and framed very well. They perfectly suit the intensity of the lead character.
Alluri is an honest story on paper and a solid action movie on screen. Sree Vishnu’s sincere efforts and high intensity in acting paid off in every sequence of the film. Alluri will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the best Telugu cop action dramas.
