The makers of Goodbye wrapped production of the film in June 2022, and from then, there were no official updates regarding the release of the film. Today, the makers of Goodbye came up with the announcement of the release date officially.
Goodbye is going to be released on October 7th, 2022 for the festive occasion of Dussehra, as announced by the makers today. The makers of Goodbye also released the first official poster for the film. Amitabh Bachchan can be seen flying a kite in the poster where Rashmika Mandanna stands by his side, helping him hold the thread reel.

Goodbye is written and directed by Vikas Bahl. Balaji Telefilms produced the film in association with Good Co. and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Elli AvrRam and Ashish Vidyarthi played important roles in the film. The film Goodbye deals with life, family, and relationships and presents the story of every Indian family, as said by the makers. The makers of Goodbye defined the film as a roller-coaster of emotions.
