Sita Ramam is a feel-good period romantic drama, as known to us all from the trailer. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles of Ram and Sita, respectively. The film’s release date is set for August 5th and so the makers of Sita Ramam conducted a grand pre-release event yesterday. Prabhas graced the event as the chief guest. He just did not represent the film unit of Sita Ramam, but instead he spoke on behalf of the entire Telugu film industry at the event and made a humble request to the Telugu audience.
Sita Ramam is a classic love story, as stated by Prabhas at the pre-release event last night. The actor said that such a classic film with its vintage vibes and beautiful visuals should only be experienced in theatres. “Sita Ramam has a very huge star cast who are brilliant performers. Vyjayanthi Movies had put in a lot of effort to deliver a classic film to the Telugu audience. Shooting in Kashmir, Russia and other cold places and getting the period look is not that easy, but the makers of Sita Ramam did it at their best. So we can experience Sita Ramam only on the big screen. We don’t stop going to temples as we pray to God at our house. Likewise, we should not stop going to theatres. For us, the industry people, theatres are our temples. So, please come to theatres and watch Sita Ramam on the big screen only,” said Prabhas at the Sita Ramam event.
Sita Ramam ticket price has been cut down very much and is set at an affordable price. The makers of Sita Ramam announced last night at the event that the tickets will be available for only Rs 100 in the Telugu states. Sita Ramam is going to be released tomorrow, August 5th, in theatres. The film is going to have its release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
