After the successful wrap of Liger, Rowdy boy Vijay Deverakonda teamed up with the star director Puri Jagannadh for the second time. The film is titled JGM and it was officially announced on 29th March. The film belongs to the War genre and it is a Pan-Indian film. Also the film unit announced the release date of the film, dated 3rd August 2023. The film’s pre-production works had already started. Now comes another interesting update about the film from the unit. They announced the lead actress of JGM officially today.
There were many names in consideration for the lead actress in the film JGM. As JGM is a Pan-Indian film, the audiences thought that a Bollywood actress would be roped in as the lead actress. Clearing all the buzz, the film unit officially announced today that Pooja Hegde is taken on board for the film JGM as the lead actress. The film unit released a video bite regarding this. The video shows the entire film unit being busy on the sets of JGM managing some set work. Pooja Hegde enters the video as a surprise and the director Puri Jagannadh along with the producer Charmee Kaur welcomes Pooja Hegde on board as the lead actress for JGM.

JGM is produced by Vamshi Paidipally in association with Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur under the banners of Srikara Studios and Puri Connects. The other cast and crew details of the film are yet to be announced officially.
