Actor Suriya turned producer and announced his debut film in Hindi under the banner of 2D Entertainment. He is producing the remake of his blockbuster film Soorarai Pottru. Akshay Kumar is the lead actor. Sudha Kongara who is the director of the original is directing this remake too.

Tollywood’s ace producer Dil Raju entered the OTT space with a web series titled ATM. Director Harish Shankar penned the script for the film and Chandra Mohan took the director’s responsibilities. Zee5 is also associated with the production and is releasing the project on its OTT platform.

The music director of the film Brahmastra, Pritam gave a few interesting updates about the film. He said that the full song of Kesariya will be released a month prior to the release of the film. Meanwhile, the makers are planning to release the teaser or trailer of the film shortly. Pritam also thanked the audience for an amazing response to the Kesariya song.

Adivi Sesh’s upcoming film Major gets a change in its release date. The final release date of the film is 3rd June. The producer of the film, Superstar Mahesh Babu officially made this announcement. The film is based on the heroics of the martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the Mumbai attacks of 26/11.

The makers of Shaakuntalam released a new poster on the occasion of the 35th birthday of the lead actress Samantha. The actress can be seen as a princess in a white saree in the poster. The film is directed by Gunasekhar. The film is currently in the post-production phase and will be released soon.
