Tollywood bears the loss of another legend. The senior director of Telugu film industry, Sarath passed away on 1st April 2022. He left his last breath at around 9 in the morning. He was fighting cancer and being treated until his demise. Many Tollywood celebrities were left with tears on hearing the loss of the legendary director. Nandamuri Balakrishna who was very close to the director and who worked with him for many blockbusters penned a heartfelt note about the loss of Sarath.
Director Sarath made his debut in Tollywood with the film Chadastapu Mogudu. The film was successful at the box office. Later he did more than 20 films as a director. Nandamuri Balakrishna was the most collaborated actor with the director. Sarath directed Sulthan, Peddhannayya, Vamsaniki Okkadu and Vamsoddarakudu with Balayya. All the films were huge blockbusters at the box office. They also got equal critics and audience response. Balayya was very much moved with the loss of director Sarath. He penned a heartfelt note about the sudden demise of the legendary senior director. Also, he mentioned about the great humanity of the director and Balayya’s relation with him in the note. Balayya sent his deep condolences to the family and the friends of Sarath.

It is known from the family members of the director that the cremation will be done at Vaikunta Mahaprasthanam in Film Nagar at 11 AM on 2nd April 2022. Nandamuri Balakrishna is expected to attend the cremation and pay his last respect to the director.
