Vijay Deverakonda is going to make his debut in Bollywood with his Pan-Indian film, Liger. Puri Jagannadh exposed Vijay as a ruthless professional boxer in the film. The director loved the actor very much and so he is making another project with the young actor, even before the release of their first project together. Jana Gana Mana, Puri Jaganadh’s dream project, is going to feature Vijay Deverakonda as the lead actor. The film’s title poster was launched officially in Mumbai on 29th March. Now, the film unit meets the Defence Minister of India.

The makers of the film announced that the film will be based on the story of an Indian soldier dreaming and striving to save his country. Also, they said that War is the choice the soldier makes in the film. The film would be completely patriotic. Even the lead actor Vijay Deverakonda said that he takes pride in portraying the role of an Indian soldier. The film will be produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmee Kaur and Vamshi Paidipally under the banners of Puri Connects and Srikara Studios. Also, the makers announced the release date of the film. JGM will be released on 3rd August, 2023.

As the film is set in the backdrop of War and Patriotism, it looks like the film unit approached the Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, for the support from the defence ministry. It is known from the sources that the film unit narrated the film’s storyline and discussed the requirements and permissions from the Government side. The makers wrote about the same on their Twitter handle. “Team JGM meets the honourable Defence minister of India, Shri Rajnath Singh ji at Delhi last evening”.
