Puri Jagannadh is collaborating with Vijay Deverakonda for the 2nd time continuously. The film was officially announced on 29th March in Mumbai. The film is titled JGM which means Jana Gana Mana. The film belongs to the War genre. The film is going to have a Pan-Indian release on 3rd August 2023. The film unit interacted with the Bollywood media in Mumbai on the occasion of the official announcement of the film.
When asked about Puri Jagannadh by the host of the event, Vijay Deverakonda replied that Puri Jagannadh is a real gangster. Vijay compared Puri to the gangsters in the films Wanted and Simmba. Speaking about the film JGM, VIjay said that he takes pride in doing the film and the character. Vijay also said that he became an actor to do such films. He really loved the script and always wanted to do the film JGM.
Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Liger was already announced to be released on 25th August 2022. The film is set in the backdrop of boxing and Vijay will be seen as a ruthless professional boxer. The film is going to have a Pan-Indian release. Karan Johar and Charmee Kaur produced the film under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.
