Nataratna Balakrishna’s Akhanda marks the hatrick combo of Balayya and Boyapati Srinu. Pragya Jaiswal being the female lead, Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Poorna etc. shined in the starcast of the movie. Thaman provided the roaring music score, while Akhanda was bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the Dwarka Creations banner. The film has recently completed 100 days. Marking the great occasion, the movie team recently organized a thanksgiving function at STBC Grounds in Kurnool. The film grossed 100 crores and has set a record in the Telugu film industry. It is a remarkable victory to have achieved such a success amidst the adverse conditions like no special shows, limited ticket prices etc. in Andhra Pradesh, opined the cine analysts.
The Akhanda wave continued to flow in the Telugu states as well as overseas. Balakrishna has set another rare record by joining the 100 crore club with the movie. For the first time in his career, Akhanda set a record as the highest grossing film of 100 crores.
