Big heads and authorised persons related to the Telugu Film industries of both Telugu states held a high level meeting on 20th of February to mainly discuss the GOs issued by Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Governments and their implementation. The meeting was held at Filmnagar Cultural Center and was presided over by Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao.
The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, Telugu Film Producers Council, Movie Artists Association (MAA), Telangana State Film Chamber Of Commerce, Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation – 24 Crafts and Telugu Film Directors Association to discuss the issues related to Telugu film industry.
During the detailed discussions, the participants came to a conclusion to stay associated like family and to go unanimous with positive resolutions and to solve the problems. Cine artists, directors, exhibitors, producers, studios, distributors and related members participated.

The survival of small budget movies and welfare of all sectors of the film industry were also discussed. The members decided to establish a high level sub committee to take over deep discussions over industry related issues, drawing suitable solutions and the implementation of decisions.
Formerly known as Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce was established in the year 1979 with the view to facilitate services to all sections of the industry, including studios, outdoor units, film producers, distributors and exhibitors, that spread throughout the state. It was then recognised as the sole representative body of the film industry.
