It is known to all that Prabhas calls his loved ones as Darling. He uses the word Darling habitually as a pet phrase to call his friends, close ones and also his fans. Even his fans call him so and thus he is called Darling Prabhas by the Telugu audience. But where did it all begin? Let us know it directly from our dearest darling Prabhas.
During the promotions of his blockbuster film Mirchi, Prabhas spoke about the word Darling and the story behind it in an interview. When asked by an interviewer about Prabhas calling everyone with the word Darling, Prabhas replied that he likes calling his loved ones with a special name and that Darling came into use. Also, Prabhas said that Darlingey song in Mirchi was the idea of Devi Sri Prasad. Prabhas and Devi Sri Prasad usually called each other with the word Darling in the early days. But as the days passed by and their relationship got stronger, they started calling each other Darlingey, changing the sweet class word Darling to Darlingey in a mass way.
Prabhas did a film titled Darling in 2010. The film was a huge success. Later, the word Darling was used as a song name in his film Mirchi in 2013. The song was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Currently, Prabhas is shooting for his next Pan-Indian films Salaar and Project K. His latest film Radhe Shyam is ready to be released on 11th March, 2022.
