A big number of Pan-India projects of the film industry announced their new release plans. Yet the makers of Adivi Sesh’s Major are not in a hurry to lock their release date, it seems. They are reportedly waiting for the right moment to finalise the date. The same is evident from a tweet of Adivi Sesh’s recent post on social media.
“Cinema is truth 24 Frames per second – Jean Luc Godard. #MajorTheFilm. The release will be decided the RIGHT way. For the RIGHT date. Because this isn’t just a movie. It’s my truth. #MAJOR ka promise hai yeh,” Adivi Sesh wrote.

Major is Adivi Sesh’s first Pan-India film. It depicts the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the martyr of 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. It will touch all angles of the major’s life apart from the anti-terror operation. Sashi Kiran Tikka is the director of the prestigious project, which has Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead.
The film was initially scheduled for release on February 11th but got postponed. The makers of Major are confident of the movie doing well across the country, if released at the right time. So, they are taking their own time in releasing the movie.
