Many South Indian movies have attained pan Indian success and fan following post the Baahubali (2015 and 2017) movies. KGF: Chapter 1 starring Yash was one such movie. This Kannada language movie was dubbed and released into several languages and met with a phenomenal response. Makers announced the sequel for KGF: Chapter 1, right after the movie’s release in 2018.
Since then, fans have been waiting to witness the sequel KGF: Chapter 2 on the big screens. The movie was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on July, 2021 itself and was postponed due to the second wave of the Coronavirus. Postponing the movie, makers shared that a new release date will be announced soon. In the latest, the new release date of KGF: Chapter 2 was revealed. The movie will hit the theatres next summer on April 14th, 2022. Check out the post below:

KGF: Chapter 2 stars Yash as the protagonist and follows the journey of Rocky Bhai. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is the antagonist. Srinidhi Shetty is the leading lady. Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Anant Nag and Rao Ramesh will be seen in supporting roles. KGF: Chapter 2 is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. Music is composed by Ravi Basrur. The movie is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. The movie will be released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Prashanth Neel is also directing the action thriller Salaar starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan.
