Biopics are nothing new to Indian audiences. Countless biopics have been churned out by Bollywood and Tollywood is finally catching up to the trend. Major is an upcoming biographical movie based on the life of army major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, saving 14 lives.
The multi talented actor Adivi Sesh is essaying the role of Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the movie. The project commenced a long time ago and was originally scheduled for a theatrical release in July itself. The second wave of the Coronavirus put a pause to the shooting and the release was postponed. In the latest, the final schedule of shooting began for Major. Adivi Sesh shared the news and informed that Major will hit the theatres only when it is safe. He also shared a picture of himself from the movie. Check out the post below:

Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is produced by Mahesh Babu under his banner GMB Entertainment. Music is composed by Sri Charan Pakala. Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj and Revathi appear in pivotal roles. Major is being shot in Telugu and Hindi and will be dubbed into Malayalam as well. Adivi Sesh is also starring in the sequel to the super successful 2020 thriller HIT: The First Case.
