Drushyam, which came out in 2014, starring Venkatesh in the lead role was one of the most loved movies of that year. Critics and audiences were impressed thoroughly and were all praises about Drushyam. The movie was the Telugu remake of the hit Malayalam movie, Drishyam. The movie was remade in several Indian languages.
Drushyam 2, the sequel to the first movie, is actively proceeding with the shoot. Suresh Productions, the makers of Drushyam 2 shared the news that Venkatesh has completed shooting for his part in the movie. The makers also shared a picture of the main cast from the sets. Drushyam 2 will follow the life of Ram Babu and his family, a few years from the prequel. Check out the picture below:

Drushyam 2 reprised the cast from the first movie with Meena, Kruthika Jayakumar, Esther Anil, Nadhiya in the lead roles. Sampath Raj and Poorna were roped in for crucial roles. Drushyam 2 is directed by Jeethu Joseph who directed the Malayalam sequel as well. The release date of Drushyam 2 is yet to be announced.
