Green India Challenge was an initiative which was begun by the Member of Parliament (MP) Mr. Santosh Kumar Joginpally towards the green Telangana, ‘Haritha Haram, program. People taking up the challenge are required to plant a sapling and nurture it till it grows into a plant or a tree. The latest to join this good initiative is Anupama Parmewaraan.
Anupama took up the Green India Challenge and planted three saplings at her home. The actress looks all smiles and happy as she posed with the saplings for the pictures. She further nominated actors Amit Shah, Nivetha Thomas and Sai Pallavi to continue the chair and make the world greener.

The Green India Challenge was started by MP Mr. Santosh Kumar and was kicked off by Prabhas this year and not soon after that, the challenge spread like wildfire with a large number of Tollywood celebrities taking up the challenge. Some of the celebrities who have taken up the challenge are Brahmanandam, Sharwanand, Samantha Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna.

On the work front, Anupama Parameswaran was last seen in the Malayalam film Maniyarayile Ashokan, which was released last month on the OTT platform, Netflix. She is also working on her second Tamil film titled Thalli Pogathey, which is a remake of the superhit Telugu film Ninnu Kori. The actress will also be seen in the Nikhil Siddharth starrer Karthikeya 2, directed by Chandoo Mondeti. She recently begin the shooting of 18 Pages in Hyderabad.
