Mahesh Babu is basking in the success of his Sankranthi release Sarileru Neekevvaru which was directed by Anil Ravipudi. The film has garnered a thunderous response from the masses and family audience, and turned out to be a super hit film. Due to lockdown, Mahesh Babu has not confirmed any of his next project, however, rumours were rife about him working with many directors such as Venky Kudumula, Parasuram and SS Rajamouli.
For many months, speculations went overflowing that Mahesh Babu will collaborate with ‘Geetha Govindam‘ director Parasuram for his next. They shall all remain rumours till today as Parasuram has affirmed in a most recent interview that he is surely modifying the content for Mahesh’s film.
Conversing to a Telugu portal, Parasuram said, “After watching ‘Okkadu’ in 2003, I decided to venture into films and make a film with Mahesh Babu. Finally, after these many years, my dream is set to be fulfilled. In other words, this is my dream project and I will certainly make it count.”

Talking more about his upcoming collaboration, Parasuram added, “It’s not that I cannot write elevating scenes and thumping dialogues which will deliver goosebumps to the audience. My films didn’t need those until now. But with Mahesh’s project, I am working on all the commercial ingredients that will satisfy his fans.”
The untitled project is all set to go on floors once the prevailing lockdown ends. Earlier, Rajamouli also confirmed that his next will be with the superstar after RRR. However, it will be interesting to see which film will commence as Mahesh Babu’s next after the lockdown.
