Taraka Rama Rao (KTR,) who responded in a witty manner.
KTR called for a Twitter activity named #AskKTR, where KTR will reply to users’ tweets and questions for a certain time. Ram Gopal Varma participated in the activity and asked KTR if Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s would take a leaf out of Mamata Banerjee’s book and deliver liquor to homes. Mamata Banerjee is the Chief Minister of West Bengal and recently news about home delivery of liquor being implemented in lockdown in West Bengal is doing rounds. However, Chief Secretary of West Bengal, said no such government order was issued. According to reports, Kolkata police will hand over delivery passes to retailers through local police stations. One shop can obtain only three delivery passes for home delivery of liquor. The customers can place orders over the phone at the liquor shop after which the retailers can deliver the stock to the customer.
