Reports say, Rana Daggubati acquired the Tamil remake rights of the Nani starrer Jersey.
This Tamil remake will be Rana’s official debut in filmdom as the main producer of a movie. The story of a middle aged cricketer who wants to rebuild his career was a hit, with a stellar performance by Nani. Gowtham Tinnanuri directed Jersey, the Hindi remake rights of which were bought by Karan Johar.
Now, sources say, cricketer turned actor Vishnu Vishal, who is now also known as badminton star Jwala Gutta’s beau, will play Nani’s role in the Tamil version of Jersey.
So, we will see another avatar of Rana Daggubati soon.
